Bruce County Council. lOTIOE 18 HEREBY GIVEN that at o Special Meeting of the Bruce County Council, held on Tuesday, the Filth day of August, 1919, the following R-eo'u'ion was papsed, and will bo submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of too Council, to be held on Tuesday, <he Sixteenth day cf Sep'em ber, at 10 a.m., at the Council Chambers at Milton:— RESOLUTION. IN PURSUANCE and exorc'se of the powers provisions and authori'iefl vested in it in that behalf by "Tin Ooun iea Aot 1908" "The Public Works Aot 1908" "Tho Motor Regulation ;Aot 1908" and all amendments of snch Ac*b and all other enabling powers pro vhiona nod autbori iea contained in any o'her ae s or otherwise enabling it in that, behalf the Council of t.he Brace County Doth Hereby by Special Order make and ordain the following By-law amending and adding to the By-laws passed by the said Council on the First day of March, 1910. The O jeota and purport of the pro* posed By-Jaw are : 1, To repeal the definition of " Traction Engine " under Seotion 8 of Part I of the said By-laws and substitute a new definition therefor; and to add to the said Section a definition of "Motor Lorry,', 2* To amend Sec ion 1 of Par' II by an addition profiling, that the Ordinary Meeting of the Council shall be held on the Second Tuesday of the month in any month in which the First Taosday may fall oh a Public Holiday and always on the Second Tuesday in the month of January. 3 To repeal Section 2of Part VII, as amended by the By-law made on the Fourth day of March, 1913. and to subjtituto therotor a new S ; ciun providing for the payment of yoarly Licmie Fees ranging from | £2 to £lO on'vehicles or machines engaged in heavy traffic on the County roads. 4. To repeal Subsection (a) jot Section 12 of Part VIII, A full copy of the proposed By-law is deposited at the Couuty Offices, Union street, Milton, and is open to tho inspection of the public during office hours until tho Sixteenth day of September next.
