Unveiling Roll of Honor
TOKOITI SCHOOL. The oeremony of unveiling roll of honor of former pupils of Tokoiti s °h°°| who have taken their share in the fight for the Empire's cause took place yesterday afternoon, just prior to the dis* persal of the pupils, and it was fitting that the function should take place on the eve of the anniversary of the historic landing on Gallipoli. Mr Peter Porter (chairman of the Behoof committee) presided, and, owing to the brief notice, thers was only a sparse attendance of parents. Apologies were received for the absence of Rev. J. Featherston, Messrs T. Scott and S. M'Noe. Brief and appropriate addresses were delivered by the Chairman, Mr C. King (Mayor of Milton) who performed the unveiling oeremony, Messrs J. B.
