PRIEST TORTURED AND SHOT. Reuter's Amsterdam correspondent forwards a report from 'Les Nouvelles/ at Maastrich, to the effect that the Germans shot seven Belgians at Liege on July 12, including the commission*! - of police and a priest. The latter was thrice starved for threo days in order to force him to speak. His assistant was tortured and forced to drink a drug terribly afflicting his nerves. Both refused to betray their comrades. One of the chiefs of the German spies in Belgium was assassinatfed on July 20.
