WOMEN FOR THE LAND.
Most active propaganda is now in progress to induce German wotiiefTand girls from the towns and cities to migrate to tho country andtake up farm labor. A communique issued by the agricultural authorities explains _ "iat even after impressing all the available old men, women, children, and "our fortunately large number of prisoners" into farm work, there is still a lamentable- lack of the labor required to reap tho crops necessary to the nation's sustenance. Farmers announce their willingness to provide first-class accommodation for women workers and even for their children. Mothers are specially urged to take of this opportunity to secure for their youngsters nourishment of quality and quantity utterly beyond their reach in tho towns.
