' >«rameß-NiT3hbi;.'aged 42,va- cook, who lived at Camperdown (N.S.W.), swallowed his false teeth on June 10, and as a result died at the Royal trace Alfred Hospital from septic pneumonia on July-25. This was the finding of the coroner, (Mr Hawkins) *at an inquiry held the other day. The. widow of deceased stated that her husband was very weak, as a result of gastritis,. and while, walking across the dining-room, he fell and - struck, his -head against the edge of the piano. When she got over to him Bhe found portion of his false set ot, teeth sticking'out of his mouth; but the other portion could not be found. He declared that he had not swallowed it: hut getting, pains in Ins back he had the X-ray put on him, and it was discovered that the missing teeth had been, swallowed, .An. operation failed to-recover 'the teeth and he was found too weak to undergo a second operation.
