Bruce CoUnty Council. IN\ that at a Special Meeting of the Bruce Oounty.Council, held on Tuesday, the Seventh day of March, 191(5, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for continuation at a Special Meeting of the Council to be held on Tuesday, the' Eleventh day of April, 191(5, at 10.30 a.m. at the. Gounoil Chambers at Milton. : RESOLUTION. In exercise of the powers conferred on it by "The Counties Act, 190b, 1 ' and all other powers and auhorities whatsoever enabling it in that behalf, the Bruce. County Council hereby makes by Special Order "The Bruce County Council By-law No 2. (Motor Cars) ltuo" amending and extending the By-laws of the said Council made and passed on the first day of March. 1910. The object and purport of the proposed By-law are to provide—1. THAT all drivers of private motor cars or motor cycles within the County except visitors residing more than fifty miles from the. Milton Post Office shall within one month after the coming into operation of the By-law satisfy the Motor Inspector of their ability to handle the machines efficiently and shallj obtain a certificate to that, effect and that every driver of a motor car or motor delivery van within the County not used for private purposes shall satisfy the Motor Inspector of ma competency to drive and attend to a motor car or motoi delivery van and obtain a certificate of competency and also a license to drive the same. 2. THE procedure to bo observed and the forms to be used to obtain such certificates and licenses, and that such certificates and licenses shall not be transferable. S. THAT no. person shall drive a motor car, motor cycle or motor delivery van unless he is physiouily capable of driving and attending thereto. 4. THAT the Council may for good reasons cancel any iioonso or certificate granted tin ior the .riy-law. 5. THAT every licensed motor _uar shall be subject \o inspection by "the Motor Inspector \ynd may prohibit such as are not in good order from running. 6 THAT at least two lights shall be carried on the front of motor cars and motor delivery vans and a red light at the rear so fixed as to illuminate the registration number of the car. 7. FOR the payment of the following fees:— (a) For Certificate of Ability to. drive a private car 10s or motor cycle 5s (b) For license to drive a licensed motor car or motor delivery van os per annum (c) For Certificate of Competency to drive a licensed motor car or motor delivery van is. 8 THAi any person allowing his license or certificate to be used by any other person siiail be guilty of an offence. 9. i HAT any person committing a breach of the .By-law shuii be liable to a penalty not exceeding £lO. A Copy of the proposed By-law has been deposited at the Offices, and will remain open to the inspection of the public during office hours until the eleventh day of April next. VTOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a Special Meeting of the Bruce County Council, held on Tuesday, the seventh day of March, 191(5, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at tiie Ordinary Meeting of -the Council, to be held on Tuesday, the fourth day of April,- 191(5, at 13.30 a.m., at the Council Chambers, Milton : RESOLUTION. In pursuance aud exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 16 of "The Loual Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and with the consent of the ratepayers of the special rating area in the Bruce County herein* after described testified by a petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the ratepayers in the said special area, the capital values of whose properties as appearing in the valuation roll of the said County is collectively greater than the capital value's of the properties of the ratepayers ,who do not so consent, the Bruce County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows : For the purpose of the formation and metalling of Blackie's Road the Bruce, County Council hereby authorises the raising of .a loan of £125 at £4 10s per centum per annum for a period of 36)4 years,and, declares that the cost of raising the said loan and the first year's interest on the loan shall be payable out of the moneys so raised. SPECIAL RATING AREA, The whole of Sections 4, .5; and 6, Block V, North Molyneux District and the whole of Lot 7 on the plan of the Crescent Estate. Dated this ninth day of March, 1916. WM.
