Their arrest was due to information received by M. Guichard, chief of the "Anarchist Brigade" of the secret police, that a group of An* archists was about to establish head* quarters in Paris.. These men were known as the "International Group," and inoluded Russians, Swiss, Spaniards, Italians and Armenians. They founded a revolutionary journal, with the title_ 'Terre et Liberte,' and secret preparations were in progress for an Anarchist attempt of some sort on May 1 (Labor Day).
