Considering the full supply forward, a fair demand was experienced, last week's rates being well maintained. Best bullocks brought £8 15a to £9 17s 6d, extra heavy £10 7s 6d to £11 17s 6d, good to best £7 ISs to £8 10s, light £6 17s 6d to £7 10s, best oows £6 17s 6d to 18 17s 6d, medium £5 10* to £6 10s, light £4 Ss to £5 ss. Fat Sheep.— ls79 were penned, nearly all shorn, both wethers^ and ewes mostly all of good to prime quality. * While this was only a very moderate entry, competition at the commencement of tbe sale was somewhat void of animation, prices obtained being barely np to last week's. Farther on in tbe proceedings the demand became more active, when slightly higher prices were secured, though towards the close buyers were less keen, and to effect sales lower prices had to be accepted. Beatcrossbred wethers brought 22s to 24s 6d, about a dozen ahow aheep, extra heavy, bronght 25s to 27s 6d, medium to good 19s 6d to 2ls 6d, best do ewea 19s 6d to 23a 9d, medium 15s to 18s 6d. Limbs.— 373 were penned, ranging in quality from medium to good and a few prime, all of which met with a good demand, best fetching 15a 6d to 16s 6d, half a dozen or so vei-jR prime 17s 6d, medium to good 17s 9d to 14; Id. Pigs.— 2o6 were penned, the greater portion suckers and small sorts, which met with good competition. All sorts, indeed, were J in good demand, and late rates readily obtaining. Snckers bronght 13s 6d to 15s 6d, ; slips 16s to 188 61, stores 19a to 25a, porkers : 28s to 355, light baconers 38* to 44a, heavy j do 48s 6d to 555.
