At the special meeting to consider above the Chairman, made -the,following financial statement for the year ended 31st March, 1903. It is 1 inserted for the general information of- [ county ratepayers. . ; On receipts side of balance-sheet the total was 15s 7d,- made up as follows : - Rates ps, loans Government votes £1118 5s 6d, subsidies 19s 6d, dog tax £156 7s 6d, licenses '£yS, goldfields revenue 12s id, rents is iod, : refunds for works 8s Bd, deposits ; on contracts is 6d, goldfields : revenue £13 ; total £\ 1,015. 5 s 7^- I The expenditure was 13s 1 id, made up as follows: — Loansrepaid 4s id, works 13s Sd, j surfacing 18s 9d, bridges j 17s, Hospital and Charitable.
