FUMIGATION BOX.. peas at one time. It is made of pin--lumber one and one-half inches thiel* tongued and grooved. The end piece are mortised into the sides. All joirt are made very tight by use of vy-hi: lead. The cover is lined with a stri.: ' of cloth, and is made to fit very closely. This box has been used for the double purpose of fumigating peas to luil ' weevils, and of dipping sheep to l;il! ticks. The bisulphide may be poivcd directly on seed peas at the rate of one pound to 100 bushels; or a saucer may be placed on the grain and the bisulphide poured in it. Other grain, infestec by insects, may be fumigated in a similar manner. It is far better to fumigate grain at once after harvest, tbv.r to "wait several weeks, but better yet tc fumigate in fall, midwinter and spring. — Farm and Home.
