Messrs Donald Reid , and Co. report prices as under : — Oats. — During the past week a fair business has been done in B grade quality at late quotations. There is also some inquiry for A grade, but few of this class are offering. Inferior and discolored lines meet with slow sale. Chiff. — Medium and inferior lines continue to arrive to a market already glutted with these kinds, and sales arc almost impossible, even at a reduction on late values. Prime oaten sheaf is scarce, and commands ready sale. We quote: Prime quality £2 10s to &2 15s, medium to good £2 to £2 7s 6d, light and discolored £ I 10s to £1 17s 6d per ton (bags extra). Hay. — The market is still glutted, and anything but choice quality can only be quitted et low values.
