Turkish ladies have at last actually discovered the benefit accruing from a judicious use of photography. Although it ia illegal for a man to look upon the face of a woman (no matter bow lovel/ she may be) unless she belongs to his immediate family circle, it set ma there is no law to prevent the ladies from having their charming personalities photographed without the intervention of the inevitable veil. Of coarse the photograph mast be taken by one of the gentler sex.
