A FOLLOWER OF MEASLES
In many instances a persistent cough foilows an attack of measles. In speaking of tin* Mr Walter B Beel, editor of the Elkin (N\ J.) 'Times,' says: "Three weeks ago I had an attack of meases whioh left me with a bad cough. I took several doses of hambeiliin's Cough Remedy and the cough hia entirely disappeared. In connection with tbe murder of Hugh Laverty, a firmer at Beula West, Victoria who was found dead in bed with his head battered io, an examination haa Bhown that tbe old man's tbroat was also out. Gluck'a confession of the murder points to his being in a demented state. He says he waß sleeping in a passage adjoining the victim's room* During the night he found himself lying alongside the bed of Laverty, whom he had killed, using an axe and a razor. Be did not know when he committed the deed. He bad been drinking and was suffering from insomnia.
