DUNEDIN HORSE SALEYARDS.
WEEKLY BEPORT. Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co. report as follows :— The horses entered for our Bale on baturday consisted almost entirely of town and dealers' lots, for which there was a fair demand. Bth draughte and light horses •were in fair request, and we have no doubt a consignment of young horses would command a fair sale. Aged draught mares brought up to £17, and upstanding hacks to £14 We quote:— Heavy active draught horses (4yrs to Byrs), £14 to £20 ; light and small do, £S to £12 ; aged and inferior do, £4 to £6 ; unbroken colts and fillies (2yrs to3vr-)£9to £15; upstanding active spring van horses, (unbroken), £13 10s to £17 i useful light spricg cart borßes £9 to £12 ; upstanding hacks, and harness horses (young) £7 to £10 ; aged and inferior do, £2 to £5.
