AN INGROWING NAIL.
An ingrowing nail ia very painful. To cure it apply a poultice of mutton auet, Caßtile soap, and powdered white sugar. This will make the flesh recede, then out out the offending nail and apply a little lino ointment. Prevention in this caee is certainly better than cure. Cut your toe nails square, not pointed, and if any of them are likely to ingrow cut the centre of the nail down in a curve, which wiil ease the pressure at the sides of the nail.
