0 A strange incident is reported from Hull Some years ago a gentleman of that town, on the death of his wife, was left i'Boo per annum for the period he remained a widower, and in the event of re-marriage, the bequest was willed to the ohildren by the first wife Financial difficulties were followed by bankruptcy, and on behalf of the creditors it was proposed to attach the b* quest. Going up to London the gentleman alluded to married a woman of eighty-seven, an iamate of one of the workhouses of the metropolis, and 'eft her at the Registrar's office to go baok to her old quarters, he returning to Huil. An allowance iv to be made to his bride for the remainder of her natural life. By this step the £800 per annum goes to the children, and tbe creditors ase unable to touch a penny.
