SUCCESSFUL OPERTION.-RESTOR-ATION OF SIGHT.
Whm about to go to press we were made acquainted with a remarkable successful operation preformed by Dr Grant and Professor Wabenburg ou a young lady— Mi=s Galling, the daughter of a farmer in the neighbourhood of Corral. She had been blind for four or five years in the right eye, aud suffered terrible pain. The case being submitted to Drs G. and \V7. it was found that a serious ulcer had formed over the cornea, which threatened to completely destroy the organ of vision. Thesi* gentlemen, by a knife operation of great dexterity, remove the ulcer, and sight was immediately restored. Trie patient is doing well. We have personal knowledge of these fact?, and can vouch for their accuracy. —'Namoi Times.'
