A letter from the Kaitangafca fioacl Board, making application for a grant of £50 towards the road tp Messrs Gray's property, as formerly promised by this Council, was, after due consideration, rejected, on the ground that the Board had received their subsidy in full, but that they would have thenproper share alloted to them out of the next funds available for similar purposes. The Clerk was instructed to write accordingly, and a motion to the above effect by Mr Duff, seconded by Mr Calder, was carried. This closed the business of the meeting.
