WOOL SALE.

Maclean Brothers rf port :- We held our second wool sale of the season at Dunedin last Friday afternoon, when we submitted a catalogue ot 640 bales. There was a full attendance of buyers, and for choice parcels of greasy, more especially merinos, the competition was active, and prices obtained for these were probably the h ; ghest of the season. Washed wools, on the contrary, were in very weak demand, and nearly all the large lots were withdrawn. Greasy merinos ranged from 8d to 10$ ;do crossbreds, 7d to 9|i ; washed wools, 13d to 15Jd ; scoured ordinary, 13d to 15£ d per lb.
