(Before E. H. Carew, Esq., R.M.) Ciyjl Cases, jiuneo v. daley and anotheb. This was an adjourned case in which the plaintiff sued defendant for the sum of £17 13s 6d for value received in board and lodging, house rent, and provisions supplied. Mr D. Reid appeared for plaintiff, and Mr Taylor for defendant. After additional evidence, of a rather contradictory and unsatisfactory description, had been taken, His Worsbip gave ! judgment for £16 8s 6d, and costs amounting to £2 12s. BILLIARD LICENCE. A. Houlstorj, of the Stirling Hotel, made application for a licence to keep a billiard table. The application was granted. This was all the business.
