A meeting of the Glenledi Road Board was held on April 20th. Preßent— John France,

That if the Tokomairiro Road Board do not wish to part with so large a portion oj their district, the Glenledi^oajd Board are-willing?to take over any portion tfiat the- Tokdm"airirp Road mWwish tb ' disp'ensWwithi f provided that the Glenledi Road District shall extend up to the town of Milton, so that there can >: be no' probability of W^eir_ roa 4 a *? * ne =County town beingy interrupted^^ mr the future ; also that such alteration of boundary be made on either o|; the following plans :--A. That the same proportion- of mileage to revenue ehallbe retained in the district, handed over tb'th^^enledr^dadl^B'oard, as in th%t reserved by the Tokomairiro Road. Board. 4. That his Excellency the r Governor be requested to appoint a Commissioner, to ; consider the^whble question 6t the -boundary of the two' districts from end to end, and alter it in any way which he may think fair and equitable, having regard to the formation of the land and public polity; 71 The Glenledi Road Board cannot see any other equitable method of adjusting the boundary question, except one of those stated above ; but if the Tokomairiro Road Board should propose any other, they would request them to" furnish a tracing from the Provincial Map of the district, with any alterations they may propose, so as to prevent any unneceßsary delay." It was resolved that the "foregoing resolutions be considered at a meeting to be held on the 13th June next, and the ratepayers be invited to attend.
