«- R, W, Oapstick reports for [the > week ending Monday, 27th May, 1878, having sold on Friday, 24th inst., at his yards Milton : — Sheep. — 55 fat crossbred eweß, 11s 7d; 240 store crossbred ewes and wethers,, 8s 3d, 88 culls, 4s 6d ; 50 crossbred lambs, at 5s each. Cattle. — 2 calring- cows at £8 each ; and 3 yearling heif era (hand fed), et £3 each. . Horses.— Brought lrom £10 10s to 1 £22, Only a limited uumber were brought -forward. Pigs.— lo store shots, at 21s 6d ; and 8 eightweek old pigs at 9s each. My first series of horses' sales will take place on Friday, 31st inst., when purchasers wishing to forward to Dunedin, can put them into Railway Trucks along side yards in time for Messn Wright, Stephenson, & Co'« sale .on the day following.
