The fire originated in the house of the Rev. J. Zachariah, Hebrew minister, who loses a lot of valuable Hebrew works almost impossible to replace. The discoverer knew of the same two years ago, and hearing of the results of the Macetown reefs, returned from Wellington. The stone Bhows a clean wall with gold on the face, and also through the stone. There is every indication of a defined and well-formed reef It is the best stone I have seen yet.
