A "UATTEit of considerable interest to tlie ratepayers of Milton, and to the settlers in the district, was referred Io at the annual meeting of the Tokomairiro Farmers' Club on Tuesday ni^-ht. It is probable .hat in a few months the sheep and cattle yards used at. tho present time b.v the auctioneers will have to be removed to some spotoutside the Municipal boundary, and it was suggested that the Farmers' Olnb should take steps to co-operate witli the auctioneers and have suitable yards and pens erected on the show ground at the Police "Reserve. The position would be a convenient one, and the Club would no doubt profit by the arrangement.
