Princess Marrying a Groom.

The c Boston Morning Journal ' says : — The supply of princesses in Germany is larger than the supply of eligible husbands for them, because they are compelled by a rigid etiquette to wed only princes. There are princes enough, but they are generally, like the princesses, poor and proud, and not being obliged to submit to the rule of etiquette mentioned above, seek wives who have plenty of gold rather than a high genealogy. The Princess Charlotte Frederica, of Schwarfzburg Sonderhausen, whoso mother has just died, muofc have noticed the (HOicuUiea in the path to the a'tar resulting from this state of things, and she very sensibly fell in love in a romantic way. She was travelling in Switzerland with her mother nearly 20 years ago, and at Zurich, while looking from a window in her hotel, she saw a man eugaged iv harnessing horses to a carriage. The Princess was smitten, and began a systematic attack upon her mother to obtain permission to marry the young man. Permission was finally obtained, and the lady, taking advaniago of her station, proposed marriage to the young hostler. He was alarmed at first, but eucouragementdrew him along, and in due time the pair were married. It was one of those matches that may be made ia heaven, for the union has been a happy one. Jud obtained au education for himself, and at the present time holds a high position in the Swiss army.
