MUNICIPAL ELECTION.
(To the Editor of the Bruce Herald.) Sir,— ln your last issue appears a letter signed by some gentleman with a classical title, reflecting upon two of the candidates for the forthcoming municipal honors. I cannot say how far your correspondent's strictures on Mr Nutsford may or may not be true, but as regards Mr Capstick, there can be no question but what he is in a high degree most fit for the office of Councillor, seeing that he pays rates in East Ward for the two bank stores, and is also a ratepayer in West Ward, and ia a contributor of LSO a year to the funds of the Corporation in respect of hia auctioneers license. He has, therefore, a great deal at stake in this community, and loulring to that I think your correspondents animadversions were, to say the least of them, erroneous and uncalled for. Apologising for thus troubling you, but desiring to see every man represented fairly to the public, I am, &0., Ratepayer.
