School Examination.
The Tnakitoto School, under the charge of Mr Guthrie, was examined on the 31st ultimo.
We were glad to see so many of the parents and friends of the children present, who were evidently deeply interested in the day's proceedings. The examination was conducted chiefly hy the Rev. Mr M'Ara, who, after having examined the several classes very carefully, expressed himself as highly satisfied with the manner in which the scholars acquitted themselves. Special no?ice -v&s taken of the Bible class., in which the training appeared to be both careful and efficient. Mr Calder, member of Committee, expressed himself as greatly pleased with the progress of the school during the past year. PRIZE LIST. Bible Class— lst, Robina Todd j 2nd, Margaret Todd ; 3rd, W.
