The poles to be sound, straight, and free from sliakes, knots and sap. N. B. — No pole will be accepted which contains the hast sap. The pul«s to be delivered wit iiin 2 months of the date of signing the contract. Tenders are to specify the price per pole as per size given, and puiut to be delivered at. Each tender to be accompanied by a deposit often pounds (£10), as a guarantee of good faith, which will be forfeited by any tenderer should he refuse to take up his tender in the event of its being accepted. Each tender must include the names of two sureties for approval, who are willing to became bond for the due performance of the ontract, in the event of the tender being accepted, and must be accompanied by a notification to that effect signed by the two proposed sureties.
