I HEREWITH deposit the sum of Twenty Pounds, as required by the Mining Leases Regulations of Otago, and agree, if my application (the particulars of which are hereunder set forth) investigated, that such sum shall in all respects be held subject to the terms of sucK-regulations, and that upon the approval of this application, I will execute a Lease upon the basis therein stated, if the Governor shall think fit to grant the same for the Concord Quartz jMining Company. - (Signed) H. Subsequently, when in full work, twelve men. Amount of capital to be invested. — One thousand pounds, sterling — £1000. Proposed mode of working the land. — By sinking, tunnelling, driving, washing and crushing thfe quartz by machinery. Precise locality.— Quartz Gully, Nuggety Gully, Waitahuna. Ground granted as a prospecting claim by one and others. Certificate No. 1436, in Block VII., i'able Hill. Terms for which lease required. — 15 years, at a rentalof L 2 10s per acre per annum.
