It was simply a lark amongst us, altogether —three men, three voraen, and four children. . The foregoing evidence was corroborated by Mrs Crane, and several other witnesses. His Worship viewed the matter as a piece of rough play, or, as the witness Brown expressed it,, "a. lark," bat cautioned the -defendant against indulging in larks of the same kind with such parties, as serious consequences sometimes resulted.
