Fat Sheep. — There is no alteration to be niidein quotations. Fat Limbs. — The market ■was completely glutted, about 250 baring come forwnrd, which were disposed of at v considerably reduction on last week's rates. Store Cattle, — Ne transactions. Store Sheep. — As shearing is pretty fer advanced, Sellers will very shortly bo in the market, and transactions may be expected to be numerous, especially for half bred and merino wethers. Country- Sale.—W e ln-ld a sale of Mr Quill's stock at Tpkomairiro, on Thursday the loth instant. Th»re was only a moderate attendance, and the bidding was not spirited. Esq- Wool i* now coining forward freely. The condition generally ia lighter thun we expected, and the sioplo particularly sound. Our opening sals of the season will be held shortly after the arrival ot the incoming Fnglish mail. Flax. — Well dre*«ed samples are saleable at our last week's q\io rations. Inferior descriptions are not in demand. Melbourne, Dec. 10th. — The markets during the we?k have tven very quiet. Flour obtained purchasers at LI 2 10a up to Ll3 for choice lots, wheat up to 5s 9il, and oats at 3s 4fl to 3s sd. New wheat coming forward in Adelaide has pre* eluded any rise taking place here fur some time, and the markets will most likely go clown. Ind ed, holders were more willing to sell at the close of the week than at the beginning. Oamaru, 16th Dl-c. The 'Times' reports:— Present, quotations at — Wheat 4s to 4s 3t. Oata, 2s to 2a 2J ; barley nominal. Flour LI I 10s to Ll2.
