OUR MEMBERS.

(To the Editor of Bruce Herald). Sir,— Allow me through the medium of your columns to direct the attention of my fellow electors to the conduct of their Representatives Messrs Glark and Adams during the present session of the Council. In scarcely a singl c division have they really represented the wishes of their constituents and it appears to me high time that their services were dispensed with . Their votes on the land question, fwith reference ifi the land tax proclamation atau though last^not least with regard to therajlowing cattle to tie driven fromihfecteeP districts into our clean "> district has thoroughly alienated the confidence of the electors. Any who one was at the meeting in the White Horse Hotel, on Saturday last, cannot fail to be struck with the disparity existing between tbe expressed feelings nd fiews of the settlers here cm the subject of Pieuto'-pneumonia, and the Votes given by Messrs Adam andjOlarksn the (souncil. They were quite right 'to 'opposes a dissolution for their chance of re-election would be small. The electors should, however, resent the conduct of Mr Adam in saying that he thought his re-election doubtful, and would therefore stop in as he was sure he had done his duty whatever his .constituents might think. Let the electors 'sjaow that they are alive to their rightjs.and are" not content with their present misrepresentation. Let a petition he got up praying Mr AdamamTMr Clark to resign, andl am sure it will be extensively signed. Yours, &c. ELECTOR.
