(To tlie Editor of the Bruce Herald.) Sib,— l understand that a Mr Wilson, who is at present in the district innoculating cattle for Pleuro-Pneumonia, has spread a report that he had commenced to' operate on mine, hut after doing a lew, had found them so diseased he would not proceed with them. ' I beg through your columns to give the report an unqualified denial, for I. have never h-d cattle innoculatcd, nor had I ever the honor of meeting Mr Wilson nor have I detected the slightest appearance of disease amongst my cattle. I applied at the Court House, Tokomairiro, for -v summons against him after having witnesses to whom he made the assertion, ready to appear, but unfortunately for' my interests and those generally of " the public, found that the Court cannot issue summonses or proceed in cases of a libellous nature Trusting the above will put the public oft their guard as to thisgentleman's assertions. I am, Sir, Yours, truly, Wm. Gn^tT Waihola.
