ALLEGATIONS OF' FRAUD UPHELD.

WELLINGTON, This Day. The Chief Justice gave his reserved judgment to-day in an involved Native land case, in which distinct allegations of fraud were made. The parties were Martha McGregor (formerly Martha Mahupuku) v. the District Land Registrar, and William Harris and Thomas Harris sheep-farmers.

His Honor held that the lease to defendants Harris and also the confirmation were both null and void. Defendants must have, known they were acting morally wrong in obtaining the lease. Judgment for plaintiff with costs./
