A Targe gathering of members of the club met yesterday at the Itecrea."fciori Ground for practice, after which <a meeting was held to discuss the •question whether the club should entor for the Wednesday or jSaturda.y ■competition, the decision being in favor of the latter day. The secretary was instructed t-o write to Miss S. Groom and Mrs T. Fpthergill re ■.sticks. The secretary informed the meeting that a Dannevirke team would visit this town next -Saturday week to play a friendly match.
