WEDDING.

ItOWE-RYA.V At St. John's Church this morning a wedding of considerable local 'interest was celebrated by the Hew J. A. McNickle, when Miss Mildred .Ryan, the fourth daughter of Miami Mrs \V. A. Ryan, was married to Mr \V. J. Rowe, oi\the Bank of New Zealand staff. The bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in a white silk dress with the usual veil and orange blossoms. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Eileen Ryan, as bridesmaid, the latter wearing a dress of saxe blue silk. Mr Keith liynn acted as best man. After the wedding ceremony the guests were entertained at the residence of the bride's parents. Mr and/Mrs Rowe left by the express to-day for Wanganui, where the honeymoon will be spent. The newly married • pair the recipients of many valuable presents, including a Morris chair from the members'of the tennis club, of which Mr Howe, has been hou. sec. for a number of yea r.s.
