Dalgety and Co., advise receiving the following cabled information from their ■London house, under date 11th inst. . Since our- last wire the market for frozen mutton and lamb is steady prices being unchanged. Early' arrivals of New Zealand lamb are expected to realise about s;*d per lb. The beef market is firm, but prices arc unchanged.
Tallow : low and inferior descriptions, 3d per cwt lower, other descriptions being unchanged. Ihe imports of wool into the London market for the year have amounted to 1,280,000 bales, divided as follows: Dalgety and Co., 80,000 bales; Bank of New Zealand 56,000 bales; Elder Smith and Co., 34,000 bales; James Morrison, and Co., 34,000 bales ; Xew Zealand and Australian Land Co., .34,000 bales, New Zealand Loan and Agency, ' 46,000 bales, Sanderson Murray and Co., 53,000 bales; Union Baiik of Australia Ltd., 55,000 bales.
