repaired. . • : The Mayor said he would J ike to • know how the Council was going to buy this new dray. It was well known that the two coachbnilders in town were both members of the Council, and' the purchase price of the dray would probably exceed the £lO limit. Anderson and himself that difficulty might have been got over. , , ' Some one suggested leaving, the matter in the hands of the engineer. The Mayor thought they would have , 'f to instruct the. engineer, what, to 3o Various devious ways were suggested . to get over the difficulty, but finally it was' agreed to l'efer the matter to the Works Committee to find a bsolution to the, problem.; ' '
