The following is the High Commissioner's report, dated London, December 2 :_ The butter market is firm, buyers aremore reserved on aecount of high prices. Value to-day is for all descriptions at at- about the quotations already given, viz., Xew Zealand 1325, Australia 1255, Danish 1375, Siberian 1255, Argentine 150s. The shipment of butter ex s.s. Kotorua arrived in good condition. The cheese market is quiet, but firm the shipment of cheese ex s.s. Rotorua arrived in good condition'. Average price for the week for finest N.Z. cheese per cwt 68s and 695, Canadian 70s.
