[press association.l DUNEDIN, This Day. • At to-day's meeting of the University Senate, on Dr. Fitehett's motion, a return showing the number of passes and failures at matriculation exams, for each of the last ten years, was ordered to be tabled. The following motion by Rev. Cameron was approved and referred to the Statutes Committee:—"That candidates for Junior University or Senior National Scholarships, on sending a notice of their intention to sit for exam., be required to forward to the registrar a signed certificate that tfeey have paid some attention to physical training. The Senate discussed the matter of making a regulation for the course for B.A, and B.Sc. degrees.
