TE REHUNGA.

The effort which is being made to form a co-operative bacon curing company was advanced another stage on Wed 11 est!ay, when a meeting' of the committee appointed at the general meeting of settlers was held at the Te Relmnga schoolhouse, Mr Bell presiding. During the brief period at its disposal the committee bad secured estimates of the cost of the plant, machinery and buildings, and also copies of the regulations governing other institutions of a similar nature. After discussion it was resolved to hold a meeting at Dannovirke 011 Wednesday, 19th inst., and to invite the attendance of dairy farmers from Norsewood, Matamau, Piri Piri, and other settlements surrounding Dannevirke.
