A Turkish Note to the PoAvers complains -that the Cretan authorities have taken an oath of allegiance to the King of Greece, and created a chamber, and decided to apply the Hellenic IaAV to the island. The Note characterises these acts as rank insubordination.
Britain and Russia, in reply, regrot the Cretans' insensate policy.
