CORRESPONDENCE.
THE FOOTBALL TROUBLE. (To the Editor.-) Sir, — I'm exceedingly sorry that I have to answer Harry A. L. Monteith's letter again, though I do not think it worth the while. If he had any common-sense at all lie would not have replied to mine of the 26th inst/" Why, any schoolboy of ten, or seven at the least, could see that my statements in my previous letter were correct. I thiaik, and am quite certain, that I have not misled the public in any respect.- They could see well enough with one eye shut than you with your two wide open. Why not get a_ field-glass, Harry? It's a. very good scheme. Whom do you .refer— hoodlums or the line? Could you re-call your mind back to the match 'we played Excelsior ? . Who was a hoodlum then? But never mind, I do not want to hurt yoxi- im the least. I know that you have 4 already been wounded, by what we- might term as "little nippers." However, it's quite unnecessary to. follow out your letter,, as it's plain enough to see that you are only "beating about the- bush." — I am., etc., TAI HEKETA. • (Intimate companion of the Woodvillp captain.) i v 'j
