Mr Justice Williams, quashed the conviction of Bond for giving 'an order for liquor to be taken into the Oamaru district. The' point involved Avas that part of Waikonaiti was now in the-, Oamaru electorate. ' The Judge held this was not a .no-license district at the time of the conviction-. As the licenses do not expire till the end of June, the- Act only comes into force then.
