Press Assn — By telegraph — Copyright. SYDNEY, yesterday. The secretary of the London Missionary Society has received from a missionary a import stating that leprosy is increasing to an alarming extent in the Cook Islands. This is attributed to the ignorance and carelessness of natives. The Teport adds : "Unless very severe measures are soon taken, and strictly enforced, all the islands in the group, in the course of a few years, will be full of the disease and the people will be doomed." v ■
