ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
[PRESS ASSOCIATION. I . DUNEDUv, last night. George Grant, farmer, of Wiekliffe Bay, disappeared yesterday. His coat and hat were found on the beach about a mile from his home. Grant, who is a married man, about 35 years of age, and has a wife and two or three children, is said to have been worried of lato about financial matters. AUCKLAND, last night. Edward Dillon, aged 18 years, has been drowned .in 1 the harbor. The ■circumstances of the case seem to point to the fact that the young fellow, who is described by his foster father as being "peculiar," took his own life in a fit of passion after having a quarrel with his guardians.
