S.M. COURT.
THIS DAY. (Before Mr S. McCarthy, S.M.) P. Can* and D. Watt were fined 40s and 7s costs for breaches of prohibition orders. F. Feirahend and L. Anderson were fined ss, 7s cost, and solicitor's fee, 10s 6d, for neglecting to send" ■children* to school. In a case against — Power, for failing to send his child to school, defendant was convicted and discharged. R. Currin, C. Mitchell and E. Jefferys were each fined ss, with costs 7s, and solicitor's fee 10s Od, for a similar offence. (Left sitting.)
