DANNEVIRKE v. MANAWATU. The Dann-evirko-golfers made up a large pai-ty yesterday to play the Ma.na.wat v men, no less than, 27 pjayers taking part. The majority of the members were quite young players, and made rather a poor showing" on the Hokowhitu links.. Palmerston won 18 games, and halved 3, the visitors winning six games.
