CANADA AND THE UNITED STATES
Press Assn— By telegraph — ;Copyright. QUEBEC, yesterday. The Government of Quebec has decided, that all pulp .destined for the United States must be manufactured in Canada- when the wood is cut from Crown lands. The prohibition of the export of pulp wood off the public domain is due to the depletion of the United •States forests and the American Senate not acceding to Canada's request to -abolish the duty of five dollars per ton on news-print.
