A PARACHUTIST'S FATE.
LONDON*, yesterday. Bidmea-d, a parachutist, when attempting to descend in Northampton, lost his parachute. He was carried away hanging below the balloon in the presence of 1000 holiday-makers,. and has not since been, heard of. Later. Bidbmead clung to the wooden ring attached to the cording for, 90 minutes, and was nearly ■exhausted when the balloon gradually dropped, and alighted safely. •''.■"■
